This is the HP pavilion 2020 model. It turns out to be a pretty good machine for its price. It’s almost multidimensional, a bit like a super sports car. The shape is seen in the advanced hinge, the top lid, and the bottom, especially the speaker. It’s like a series of connected 3D hexagons. It looks cool when lights shine on it. In general, HP is a perfect incoherent design language, and I’m just a fan of that.

The whole thing is made of plastic, but HP’s finishing quality is very well done and feels nice and sturdy. HP has completely redesigned the cooling system on this laptop. There are two massive vents behind for airflow. They are not only big and open; they also look very cool, very gaming like.

The keyboard typing feel is another unique experience. This keyboard is excellent for both typing and gaming. It’s great for gaming because it’s super responsive and doesn’t require much force, so your fingers can serve on it and switch between keys very comfortably.

Typing is also excellent because of the long travel and good tactile feedback—the great keyboard is a full-sized keyboard with a Numpad. With this machine, you will find it completely stable.

Asus Vivobook S14 S432Best Overall

Dell Inspiron 15 5000

CPU: 8th Intel Core i7
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620
RAM & Storage: 8GB & 512GB SSD
Display: 14-inch FHD IPS
Battery life: 5 hours
Weight: 3.09 pounds

This is the Vivobook s14. It’s got a place in the market. This laptop is tiny. It’s ultra-thin. It’s ultra-lite. It’s a pretty decent laptop, especially for its price. This notebook was never designed by Asus to target the world’s most hardcore gamers, the world’s most creative designers that need computing power.

But for the average person that love the internet, the average person that owns a camera that wants to go on holiday take a few photos and even be able to edit them. The Vivobook was designed for you, so that’s my thought. It’s nice, ok.

And do you know? It has a super cool touchpad. Suppose you have ever used a laptop, and you don’t have the number pad on the side. In that case, you will understand the frustration that I’m talking about, so having it included in something like this, he’s fantastic, especially if you are working on an excel document or even anything with numbers.

Further talking about the weight of the laptop 1.4kg. It’s a pretty good weight.

The keyboard is backlit as well-meaning if you decide to work late nights and all the turned lights are turned off, you can change the brightness of the keyboard lighting as well, definitely a plus point.

Processors: An Intel Core i7-8565U CPU powers the Asus Vivobook.

Display quality: Now talking about the display as the name suggests, this is a 14-inch laptop with a 14-inch display 1080p resolution IPS LCD panel, and the display looks very good. Further, this model comes with an anti-glare screen that protects your eyes from the light.

RAM & Storage: The laptops come with 8GB 2666hz RAM, which cannot be expanded. Unfortunately, I feel like that’s not a significant step with a Core i7 processor. There should be an option to upgrade to 16 GB of RAM. On the laptop, you will get 512 GB SSD. There is also one extra slot which you can use to expand the Storage.

Graphics card: You will be disappointed if you are a pro gamer. Because Asus did not build this laptop for hardcore gaming experience as the Intel UHD Graphics 620 are installed. If you want to run games on higher settings, then I will not recommend this laptop. But if your primary purpose is office work or basic everyday tasks, then go and grab it.

Ports: When it comes to ports, there is plenty of a charging port on the left side, an HDMI port. There are two USB 3.1 gen one ports first one is USB type-A, USB Type-C port. Then there is also a headphone jack. There are two standard USB Type-A ports, USB 2.0 type-A ports on the right side.

Battery Life: Well, the battery gives you up to 5 hours of battery life on everyday use—that great.

Note: You will also find a fingerprint sensor on the trackpad. Yes, you can unlock the laptop by using your fingerprint sensor on this device.
Pros
  • It has a beautiful sleek design.
  • It’s ultra-thin and ultra-lite.
  • It has good battery life.
Cons
  • It comes with limited upgradability.

The yoga line from Lenovo has always been stunning to look at. It has a high-quality finish, a sleek yet sturdy build quality that doesn’t feel like it’s going to break in our hands. It has the performance to build, but that’s what you get in every other laptop that’s in this price range.

In most cases, you get better specifications, so what does it have that the competitors don’t. Well, it is entirely oblivious. Isn’t it?

You are not typing on a physical keyboard when using it. You are not typing on the arms display. Well, it is a display, but it’s an E Ink-display.

The sketching mode is the thing that differentiates it from the competitors as it has an incredible amount of details that you get out of the sketches as it has over 1000 force points that enable an excellent gradation when drawing with the pen.

Display quality: It comes with a great display. It has a 10-inch display. The screen experience is perfect. It’s perfect for watching videos on this. You can also use this as an e-reader. You can read books here, just like any other e-reader. The screen is not backlit like all the other e-readers out there. So you can’t read in the dark.

Note: It comes with a stylus pen, which helps you to draw anything. One more thing, you can’t use colors as you will only get black and white on its surface. But you don’t have to buy the stylus pen separately because it comes with a device.

RAM & Storage: With 4GB of RAM, everyday use such as editing photos, browsing websites, or writing shouldn’t be a problem but not video editing due to the lack of video graphic cards. It has 128GB SSD storage, which is quite enough for this device to store your pdf files, documents, and E-books.

Graphics card: There is not enough graphics memory to do video editing or games. This is not built for serious work as it has Integrated Intel HD Graphics 615.

Battery life: Up to 9 hours of battery life gives you an incredible experience.
